Description
A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "Flora of Lipetsk Province" (Alexandrova et al., 1996). The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for Lipetsk Oblast, Russia.
Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).
The dataset includes 1,434 accepted, i.e. numbered, species names (not 1,437 as stated in the original source - one Hieracium species is missing, whereas Hieracium amarantum Peter and Hieracium thamnasium (Peter) Weiss are unresolved names). Cultivated plants, i.e. 231 species marked with an asterisk (*), are excluded.
Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,434 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
