A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "List of Species of Vascular Plants of Moscow Flora" (Shcherbakov & Lyubeznova, 2018). This dataset covers the City of Moscow within the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD), i.e. within the city borders of 1960-1969. The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for the City of Moscow, Russia.
Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).
The dataset includes 1,905 accepted species names (not 1,906 as stated in the original source). It is heavily overloaded with hundreds of cultivated plants unknown as escapes. No indications on their true status is given in the original source. Three species from the original source (i.e. Medicago caerulea Less. ex Ledeb., Oxalis dillenii Jacq., Heliopsis helianthoides (L.) Sweet) are excluded due to missing of district records.
Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,905 records.

The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
